Rachel & Kyle

Can you walk us through your career path and how it led you to your current role at e4health?

Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats, each of which has contributed to my success in my current role at e4health. I graduated from Temple with an RHIA and had the opportunity to intern with e4health as part of the program. During my internship, I worked with Todd Goughnour, supporting the HIM and IT departments at Einstein. That experience led to a full-time role at e4health, where I held various positions, including Application Tester, ICD-10 Coordinator, and Project Manager.

My last engagement at e4health was as a project manager for the Onbase document management system during Thomas Jefferson’s Epic migration. Once they went live with Epic, I transitioned to Jefferson as a full-time Application Manager, overseeing Onbase, MModal, and Rightfax. After several years at Jefferson and multiple Epic go-lives, I became an Implementation Director at Lumira, a company specializing in point-of-care diagnostic testing machines.

Finally, in May 2023, I returned to e4health in my current role as an Account Executive. My experience across HIM, IT, and implementations has given me a well-rounded perspective that I leverage in my current role. I’m grateful for each of these experiences, as they help me support our customers and drive their success.

What aspects of your work at e4health ignite your passion for improving healthcare outcomes?

The most rewarding part of my job is collaborating with our customers and operational team to achieve tangible results that ultimately improve patient care. It’s truly exciting having an opportunity to connect our talented operational experts with customers who have dedicated their careers to patient care and seeing a better outcome because of it.

At e4health, we pride ourselves on WEGROW values. Which of these values resonates most deeply with you, and can you share a specific instance where you’ve embodied this value in your day-to-day work?

All these values resonate deeply with me and provide a strong foundation for our organization. However, in my current role I’d say Win/Win stands out the most.

Coming into this role, I didn’t have a sales background, and I initially had misconceptions about what it meant to be in sales. However, after almost two years in this position and working with our incredible sales team, I’ve realized that sales at e4health is about partnership and problem-solving. Helping our customers naturally creates opportunities for us as a company. There’s a great sense of pride in seeing both e4health and our customers thrive after an engagement.

How long have you been with e4health, and what aspects have motivated and engaged you through your tenure?

This May marks two years in my current role at e4health, but my relationship with the organization spans over a decade from my first tenure here. The culture at e4health is a big reason why I’ve maintained strong connections and was eager to return.

The WEGROW values are truly embedded in our organization, keeping me engaged and motivated. I’m fortunate to work alongside amazing colleagues – some I’ve known since my first time here and many I’ve built strong relationships with since returning. When you’re surrounded by people who embrace change, enjoy learning, and like to have some fun, all while keeping a “GSD” mindset, staying motivated comes naturally.

Are there any interesting facts about you that your colleagues may not know?

My colleagues are often surprised when I talk about my experiences solo travelling. I’ve taken several solo trips to different places; Vietnam, Portugal, Croatia to name a few of my favorites. These experiences have shaped me personally, teaching me to embrace the unknown and adapt to new situations.

I’ve always drawn inspiration from Anthony Bourdain, and I love seeing how people live in different parts of the world. In many ways, my career has mirrored my travels – taking on new roles, stepping into unfamiliar territory, and growing through these experiences.

What goals does Kyle have for his future at e4health?

I want to continue developing as an Account Executive and building on my skills in this role. There’s so much to learn, and I’m constantly inspired by our sales team, many of whom have 20+ years of experience. I’m grateful to learn from their insights and experience, and I’m excited to keep growing in this position.
