Introducing Amanda Corley
Join us in celebrating Amanda Corley, our Vice President of Coding Solutions, and explore how her leadership is driving innovation at e4health.

Can you walk us through your career path and how it led you to your current role at e4health?
I’ve spent over two decades in health information management, with a strong focus on medical coding, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), and revenue cycle operations. I started in hands-on coding, which gave me a deep understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects of healthcare reimbursement. Over time, I moved into leadership roles where I helped optimize coding processes, ensure compliance, and lead both onshore and offshore teams.
In my role as Vice President of Coding Solutions at e4health, I oversee coding operations, ensuring we meet client needs while maintaining quality and efficiency. One thing I always emphasize is that success is never about just one person—it’s about the collective effort of the Director, Managers, and Coders on my team. I trust them fully, and their expertise and hard work are what drive our outcomes. My role is to support them, remove obstacles, and ensure we’re operating as effectively as possible.
What aspects of your work at e4health ignite your passion for improving healthcare outcomes?
Medical coding and CDI may seem like administrative tasks, but they directly impact healthcare outcomes. Accurate coding ensures appropriate reimbursement, supports data integrity, and ultimately affects the resources available for patient care. It’s about more than numbers—it’s about making sure the clinical story is correctly told. What keeps me passionate is knowing that the work my team does has a real impact. When we get coding right, we help hospitals and providers stay financially stable and compliant, which allows them to focus on patient care.
At e4health, we pride ourselves on WEGROW values. Which of these values resonates most deeply with you, and can you share a specific instance where you’ve embodied this value in your day-to-day work?
The value that resonates most with me is “Get Stuff Done (GSD).” In this industry, there’s no room for inefficiency—clients rely on us to deliver results. I expect a lot from my team, but I also make sure they have the tools and support to meet those expectations. A great example is when we needed to quickly scale operations for a major client. There was no time for unnecessary red tape or delays—we had to move fast. I worked directly with our managers and coders to put a plan in place, ensuring we had the right people in the right roles, and we delivered on time. The success of that project was a direct result of the team’s ability to get things done under pressure.
How long have you been with e4health, and what aspects have motivated and engaged you through your tenure?
I’ve been with e4health for almost 3 years and what keeps me engaged is the work itself. I thrive in environments where there are challenges to solve and where I can make a meaningful impact. My motivation comes from seeing the results—whether it’s a coding operation running efficiently, a client issue resolved, or a team member growing in their role.
Are there any interesting facts about you that your colleagues may not know?
One thing many people don’t know is that in my early teens, I had a contract with a small studio in Nashville. While my music career didn’t take off, it was a big part of my life and still is in many ways. If I hadn’t pursued medical coding, I would have gone to law school to become a special prosecutor for crimes against women and children—an area I’ve always felt strongly about.
What goals does Amanda have for her future at e4health?
My focus is on delivering results, improving operations, and ensuring our teams have what they need to be successful. I want to continue refining how we work, making processes more efficient, and ensuring we remain a trusted partner to our clients. Most importantly, I want the team to know how valuable they are. Success is never about one person—it’s about the collective effort, and I will always advocate for them and the work they do.
